Recap on the 2023 Beaufort County GOP Convention

BCRP Volunteers, Delegates, Alternates, Members, Candidates, and Guests:

Thank You!

Thank you for all the time and work you put into making this Beaufort County GOP Convention our best Convention ever!

Thank you for taking valuable time away from family and friends to do your part to save our
country and save Beaufort County. Our volunteers did a tremendous job!

Thank you for putting up with our hectic, but very successful schedule.

We all pushed ourselves to the limit and then some. I recognize this and I greatly appreciate it.

We appreciate the candidates who stepped forward, got involved, and ran for office.

The issues we voted for on April 1 were more than just selecting candidates. The delegates had a clear choice and overwhelmingly chose Xiaodan and her platform. The results told us quite a bit about ourselves and the BCRP.

So what did we learn?

Who are we?  Do we support racism and hate?  In any form? Ever?  That was answered loud and clear with an "Absolutely Not!"
There was a 38-4 Executive Committee Vote on March 17th against racism and hate speech.

What do we believe? Was the Election Reform passed in 2022 good or bad?
That also was answered loud and clear— and with a resounding YES; 96% in the straw poll supported the 2022 Election Reform Bill.

How do we view the future? Do we want to return to 1862 and paper ballot voting?
Or….
Do we believe in a process of voting that verifies voters before they vote and can be audited after?
Per the straw poll, 96% support Election Reforms

The election for State Executive Committeeman was very similar to the 2022 GOP Governor Primary, which tells us our Beaufort GOP is "Common Sense Conservative!" Xiaodan Li won by 86% to 14%.

Our new rules were supported overwhelmingly, with 90%+ supporting them.
And... We elected solid conservative Delegates to the SCGOP convention.

All of our accomplishments on Saturday are the direct result of an 18-month campaign for the future & allowing the voters in the precincts to decide the future of the Beaufort County GOP.

The delegates spoke loud and clear and gave the BCRP Leadership Team a clear mandate to continue to grow the party and win elections. This is all a result of 18 months of hard work by you, your region, your precincts, and your volunteers.  The BCRP drove the ReOrg & Convention participation rate up by more than 200%.  The keyboard bullies were wrong again on this issue.

These accomplishments and this mandate were delivered to Beaufort County by Beaufort County Republicans.  Make no mistake, this message is a mandate.

There was NO outside influence in Beaufort County GOP accomplishments, especially not from Greenville, Lexington, or Columbia. Beaufort County chose its own destiny and always will.

The Beaufort County Republican Party is UNITED, and the election results prove this beyond any doubt. The naysayers are wrong; the keyboard bullies are wrong; however, the Delegates are right!

It's time to unite for 2024. The Party has spoken and we are united.
