Willie Turral

A realtor, experienced educator, father, and a native of Beaufort County, Willie Turral is challenging the government status quo that has been the Auditor's Office.

Willie Turral is the son of a Jamaican immigrant, a Saint Helena Island native with his roots near the historic Penn Center campus. Turral is a Call Me Mister graduate from USC Beaufort and a former educator at Saint Helena Elementary. Prior to teaching, Turral was a Director of Operations at a non-profit dedicated to troubled youths. Turral is a non-profit executive for Project Freedom 326 and Geechee Gullah Initiative Foundation. Turral is a founding board member vice-chair of a Heritage Academy school and finishing his final year of Law School at Charleston School of Law. A single father of three, Willie Turral is a passionate and devoted community liaison. Willie Turral is the Chairman of Beaufort County Young Republicans and his local Precinct President.

A life-long advocate and voice for Beaufort County’s citizens and across the State of South Carolina, Willie is a hardworking, take-action leader committed to excellence in public service. above self- 13 years in public service. 5 years in education teaching at a title 1 school, Saint Helena Elementary on Saint Helena Island.
