Lauren Martel

As an attorney in private practice for over 30 years, Lauren has lent her legal experience to hundreds of  clients. She has been a guest speaker on numerous radio and television shows and at in-person events. Her practice includes Personal Injury, Contractual and Constitutional Law, Government  overreach issues, Family Law, Criminal law, and defending historical legacy cases. 


Lauren Martel received her Juris Doctorate and undergraduate degrees from Syracuse University in 1990 and 1987, respectively. She has practiced law in the State of South Carolina for more than 30  years. She engaged in general practice of law in all areas, particularly litigation, focusing on Family  Law from 1992 to 1997.  


From 1997 until now, she has operated her own law practice, Martel Law, formerly located on Hilton  Head Island and now Bluffton, South Carolina. She is a member of South Carolina Bar in good  standing. 


• From 2018-2020, Lauren Martel has worked with the SC Bar Children Law Committee working  on CLE for Human Trafficking, SC Bar convention 2021, and SC Bar Convention 2022 Medical  Freedom; 

• In 2019, Lauren Martel intervened in a lawsuit to protect monuments and SC heritage in  Orangeburg; 

• In 2020, Lauren Martel advocated for parents and others who wanted exceptions to wear masks or be forced to test beyond what their own body would tolerate; to defend mask abuse tyranny from overreach of local unelected commissions like the Charleston Livability Dept; 

• In 2021, Lauren Martel filed lawsuits and advocated on behalf of numerous people caught up in the covid-19 hospital protocols who were seeking alternative treatment including Ivermectin and  HCQ and vitamins and supplements
